Ben Affleck is every inch the doting dad as he enjoys father-daughter day out at the movies with middle child Seraphina

After separating from Jennifer Garner last summer, Ben Affleck has spoken in great deal about their genuine life-long love for one other.

That family bond proved authentic as the handsome actor stepped out for a daddy-daughter day out at an afternoon matinee movie in Beverly Hills, California on Saturday with his second born daughter - Seraphina, 7.

The Batman V. Superman actor, 43, looked handsome as he put on a 'cool dad' display in a deep teal green top which showed off his muscular pecs, complemented by a hip black biker jacket.

As he was out for an occasion that didn't involve getting suited and booted for a premiere, the rugged actor wore a pair of loose-fitting dark wash jeans to ensure maximum comfort.

Sauntering forward in a pair of beige lace-ups, the Good Will Hunting star held on to the hand of his precious daughter.

Seraphina, who looked like the spitting image of her stunning mother flashed her dimples as she sported a constant smile on her face.

Wearing a striped bright pink, green and orange dress, she established comfort in pair of dark grey Uggs.

Clearly a fan of patterns, the adorable youngster wore a polka dot hoodie and had her hair tied in a low-rise ponytail.

On many occasions, the duo seemed engaged in lively chatter as Ben ensured she was never out of his sight.

Needless to say, it seems as though the presence of removal vans this week at the Pacific Palisades house Ben shared with Jennifer hasn't affected the bond with his children.

The Texas native- who is also father to Violet, 11 and Samuel, 4- was spotted leaving the property on Wednesday as boxes were being loaded into the large vehicles.

This all comes after it was revealed last month that he is sleeping in the bedroom next to his 43-year-old ex's in the $45million mansion.

A source told US Weekly: 'Ben stays in the room next to Jen's. This is their new normal. They've figured out how to be friends.'

The former love-birds have been open-minded to the separation process and have both kept busy with their respective latest movies- Ben's superhero film Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and Jennifer's Christian flick Miracles From Heaven.

Ben's critics-bashed film earned praise from ticket-buyers, as it raked in over $200 million, after it cost $250 million to make, in just seven days since it's release, according to Deadline.
