More legal drama? Lindsay Lohan 'caught in dispute over whether she has completed her 125 community service hours'

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly due back at the Santa Monica City court on Thursday to establish whether she has completed her community service.

But according to TMZ, the prosecution have said they are planning to dispute that the 28-year-old has completed enough hours.

The site claims that the prosecutor in the case believes that Lindsay has fallen short of her 125 hours and if this is the case, they could ask the judge to issue her with a warrant for her arrest.

A representative for the star told MailOnline: 'Lindsay has shown and will continue to show a deep commitment to helping children and is committed to satisfying the requirements of the court.'

The actress was recently ordered to complete an additional 125 hours of community service for a reckless driving charge.

She had previously been ordered to perform 240 hours of community service as part of a plea deal she struck after her Porsche rear-ended a truck in California in 2012.

But while appearing in the West End production Speed The Plow last year, she let young people 'shadow' her and logged it as community hours.

The court 'had a problem with some of the work shadowing,' Lohan's attorney, Shawn Holley, told the Los Angeles Times earlier this year. 'They didn't want to hear more about how that played out.'

Lindsay is 'enjoying doing community service' though, Holley told the LA Times. 'Her passion is really working with kids... and kids really respond to her.'

Lindsay has previously completed some of her work at the London-based charity Community Service Volunteers (CSV).

Meanwhile, the actress was spotted leaving a Mayfair club on Tuesday night, hours after telling her Instagram followers she'd spent the day working as part of her community service.

Lindsay dressed up for her evening out, flashing some leg in a racy lace dress teamed with some platform heels.

The Mean Girls star looked in great spirits as she left the London club, flashing a big smile and blowing kisses at photographers.

Looking glam for her evening out, Lindsay slipped into a lace dress with the knee length number flashing her legs thanks to the sheer skirt.

The actress added a studded belt which accentuated her waist and threw on a fitted Chanel blazer to keep warm.

A pair of towering platform heels from Charlotte Olympia and a blue bag finished off her look, with the star leaving her signature red locks loose and wavy.

It was a busy day for Lindsay as hours earlier she posted an Instagram snap showing her workload.

Sitting at a desk with a huge pile of envelopes in front of her, Lindsay attracted attention when she first labeled the photo 'Communist Service - office day,' before changing the caption to read 'Community Service.'
