Slimline Sam Smith continues to show-off his weight loss as he steps out with friends in Amsterdam

He has lost considerable weight in recent months.

So it's perhaps not surprising that singer/songwriter Sam Smith was still keen to show off his slimline figure as he stepped out in the Netherlands on Monday.

The Oscar-winning singer was seen sightseeing with gal pals in Amsterdam, where he cut a healthy figure.

The Stay With Me star looked on-trend as he sported a black and white Breton top, which he matched with a navy blue pea coat.

He added a pair of black skinny jeans to the mix and anchored the look with a pair of black shoes. 

Also sporting some designer glasses and his preened beard, the international chart-topper was certainly looking good as he enjoyed some down-time.

Joined by two female pals, the trio walked the canals before stopping for lunch. 

The latest outing comes just days after he shared a gym selfie, which proved that he works hard to keep his weight-loss regime going in the right direction.

He captioned the moody, black-and-white shot with: 'I be up in the gym just working on my fitness - He's my witness (oh, wee)'.

If he was lacking any incentive, that's surely changed amid reports he's landed a trendy new boyfriend in the form of British model, Jay Camilleri.

Sam's handsome new man, 25, is no stranger to being in the spotlight as he shot to fame on the 2009 E4 TV documentary series Dirty Sexy Things, on which he was described as a 'bisexual party boy'. 

The pair have reportedly enjoyed a number of dates and are said to be 'having fun together'.

A source told The Sun: 'They just started following each other on Instagram too, suggesting both are keen to do some cheeky profile-stalking. They're having fun together and are now excited to see where this leads.'
