'My first album': Kylie Jenner reveals she is a huge fan of Australian songstress Kasey Chambers as she lip-sync's to her music leaving country singer 'chuffed'

Her brother-in-law is modern music mogul Kayne West and she is also currently dating rapper Tyga.

But despite her ties to American hip-hop, it seems Kylie Jenner also has a penchant for country music.

The 18-year-old socialite posted a number of videos of herself to Snapchat on the weekend, singing along to the hits of Australian music legend Kasey Chambers.

In the clips, Kylie also revealed that her first ever album was the country crooner's award winning Barricades and Brickwalls.

'Kasey Chambers. My first album,' the youngest sister of the Kardashian and Jenner clan captioned a video of herself lip-syncing the hit single Barricades And Brickwalls.

She commented on a subsequent video: 'This is all we listened to when we were little… Kasey Chambers. Our whole childhood.'

Kylie would have been around three when the song first came out in 2001.

In the footage, Kylie passionately sings along to the lyrics as she rides in her car during a road trip with a group of friends.

She momentarily glanced down at the lens in between keeping her eyes on the road and steering the vehicle.

She comes into the song at the cue: 'Barricades and Brickwalls won't keep me from you. 

And continues mouthing the heartfelt words: 'You can tie me down on a railroad track. You can let that freight train loose.'

Kasey was clearly excited to have an ardent fan in the influential starlet, who boasts a following of almost 57 million on Instagram alone.

The 39-year-old, who originally hails from Mount Gambier, took to Instagram and Twitter on Monday to share the videos of Kylie's lip-syncing performance from the social media platform as she gushed over the teenager jamming out to her tunes, revealing she was 'chuffed.'

'Awwwwwww @kyliejenner singing my songs....' she captioned the clip, adding the hashtag: 'chuffed.' 

'My first album was 'Father Abraham in Smurfland'..... Still not as weird as @kyliejenner first album being #barricadesandbrickwalls !!' the country music singer wrote.

This isn't the first time Kylie has confessed she is Kasey Chambers fan.

Last year, Kasey welcomed Kylie to join her on tour after Kylie posted a video of herself and her sister Kendall singing along to her hits Not Pretty Enough and A Little Bit Lonesome, from the same album.

Speaking to KIIS 1065's Kyle and Jackie O at the time, host Jackie mentioned to Kasey, Kylie's reported desire to have a music career, and Kasey said the brunette star could tag along with her.

'Well you know what, if she wants to come on tour, she can. Look, I don't know if she'd be able to handle my lavish lifestyle...' she said with a laugh.

During their on air interview, Kyle then asked if Kasey was giving the reality starlet an 'official invite' to the stage, to which she replied, 'absolutely, without a doubt.'

'I imagine that my crowds would go up a little bit if I do that,' she said with a chuckle.

Kasey also said that she would love it if both Los Angeles-based Kylie and Kendall even attended her shows.

'I'm actually going over to tour there next month, so I'm hoping that they are going to come out to some of the shows,' she said.

It is believed that despite the offer, Kylie did not attend the concert.
