They jetted into Los Angeles from their home in New York on Friday.

And on Monday evening, Mary-Kate Olsen and husband Olivier Sarkozy were spotted leaving celebrity haunt Dan Tana's Restaurant in West Hollywood after enjoying dinner together.

The 29-year-old former child star-turned-fashion entrepreneur turned her head away probably because she did not have a spot of makeup on.

She looked her usual stylish self in a beige jacket worn over a cream cardigan, a black v-neck blouse and black skinny jeans.

She left her long blonde hair to cascade naturally down her back. 

The 5ft 2ins celebrity added more than a few inches to her petite frame with a pair of stunningly high-heeled booties. 

And it was just as well, as her 46-year-old husband towers over her at 6ft 3ins.

The French banker, who is the half-brother of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, was casually dressed in a blue shirt under a black knitted sweater and a black jacket and trousers.

The couple tied the knot in New York last November after being in a relationship since May 2012.

Mary-Kate is likely in Los Angeles to check up on progress on the first bricks and mortar store for Elizabeth And James, the second designer label she co-founded with twin sister Ashley.

In February, they revealed to WWD that the store will open at hugely popular The Grove shopping centre in the city's Fairfax district in July.

The 3,000-square-foot boutique will carry clothes, accessories, jewelry and fragrance from their line.

The twins also share luxury fashion brand The Row, which they co-founded in 2006.
