How To Get Away With Murder star Liza Weil files for divorce from Scandal's Paul Adelstein after nearly 10 years of marriage
Actors Liza Weil and Paul Adelstein are ending their marriage after almost 10 years.
Weil reportedly filed for divorce from the 46-year-old Scandal star on March 25 citing irreconcilable differences and listed their date of separation as January 15.
The 38-year-old actress, who rose to fame as Paris Geller on Gilmore Girls, has requested joint custody of the couple's young daughter as well as spousal support.

Spousal support will be finalized in mediation as stated in court documents obtained by E!.
The duo have both starred on Shonda Rhimes' show Scandal; Adelstein as campaign consultant Leo Bergen from 2013 to 2015 and Weil as White House aide Amanda Tanner in 2012.
Adelstein also starred in two of Rhimes' other popular shows, Private Practice and Grey's Anatomy.

The split comes at a time when the actors are experiencing huge success in their professional lives.
Adelstein currently stars as Jake in Bravo's scripted series Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce which is in its second season.
Weil stars in ABC's hit drama How to Get Away With Murder (also produced by Rhimes) and is reprising her role as Rory's best friend in the Netflix reboot of Gilmore Girls which is currently in production.

Adelstein and Weil married in 2006 after meeting during their time in theatre and share a five-year-old daughter, Josephine.
The duo has starred together in three movies, 2007 short Order Up, the 2008 Gregory Dark-helmed Frenemy, and The Missing Person.
Weil also starred in an episode of Private Practice with her husband in 2011 but they didn't share a scene.
