Donald Trump is making his way to London - in all his naked glory.

But all is not quite as it seems. The real Republican hopeful will be staying put in the States, where he is locked in a battle to win the party's nomination to run for President.

Instead, Londoners will be treated to a painting almost as controversial as the man himself.

Ilma Gore's Make America Great Again - a play on Trump's own slogan - shows what she imagines the billionaire businessman might look like without any clothes on - complete with micropenis.

The painting has proved so controversial in the States, Gore claims to have had some 1,000 death threats - and the picture has been banned by Facebook Two attempts to auction the artwork on eBay also failed, when that site removed it as well.

Gore says the reaction to the piece - which she uploaded to Facebook on February 9, after which it was shared 260,000 times - has been 'overwhelming'.

It has left her unable to display the pastel based pencil and oil paint artwork in the States, which is why she turned to London, and the Maddox Gallery in Mayfair.

She added: 'While it is obviously a great shame that I cannot exhibit it in the USA due to censorship and also threats from Trump supporters to harm both myself and the artwork, I am so excited that it will finally be exhibited in a gallery space where interested parties can come and see it 'in the flesh'.

'London has always had such an open-minded attitude towards art and has regularly displayed works of art that push boundaries and cause controversy, it is the perfect place to show Make America Great Again.'

Trump's popularity has won the presidential nomination of 743 delegates. He only needs another 494 to become the presidential nominee for the Republican party - and is currently 226 ahead of his closest rival, Ted Cruz.

However, his controversial and extreme views have also made him a figure of hate - and subject of a number of less-than-flattering pieces of art.

Canadian comedian Davison, of the YouTube channel LOLPervs, filmed herself painting a portrait of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump with her breast as she explains that he is the 'biggest boob on the internet'.

She auctioned off the innovative work of art featuring the 69-year-old at 32auctions and promising to donate 50 per cent of the money she earns in the sale to a breast cancer charity of The Donald's choosing.

Meanwhile, Sarah Levy, of Portland, painted his portrait in her period blood.

Sarah Levy describes her red-and-white picture of Trump, who looks like he is speaking, as 'menses on a matte board' and has titled it 'Whatever'.

The work was meant as a protest against Trump's comments about women and menstruation are unacceptable.
