Batman v Superman star Ben Affleck takes his muscle car for a spin... as Dawn of Justice film passes $700 million worldwide

He's riding high on his successful turn as Batman and on Tuesday Ben Affleck decided to take one of his classic cars for a spin around town.

Instead of Bruce Wayne's Batmobile, the actor, 43, got behind the wheel of a 1966 Chevy Chevelle SS.

His still formidable physique, which he bulked up for the Batsuit, was clearly visible thanks to his tight t-shirt that showcased his abs and biceps.

The bearded Oscar winner paired his simple t-shirt with blue jeans and blue trainers as he ran his errands solo.

It's been a good couple of weeks for Ben who had been generally praised for his performance in Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

While the Warner Bros. movie was poorly reviewed, critics were mostly impressed by the actor's interpretation of the iconic comic book character.

And on Tuesday, the studio announced that the film has passed the $700 million mark globally, according to Variety.

The film opened in North America with a $166 million take, although ticket sales plummeted by 69 percent in its second weekend.

However, it's predicted it will hold on to the top spot at the box office this coming weekend despite a lack of repeat business.

Ben is committed to reprising the Caped Crusader role in two more Justice League movies as well as in a standalone movie, and it's been rumored he's actually written a Batman script that he'd like to make.
