Her latest LP is called Honeymoon - but it looked like life is a bit of a beach in general, for Lana Del Rey on Wednesday.

Enjoying a day off from promoting the new album, the musician stripped to a stylish nautical bikini for a day out on the Malibu sands.

Lana, 30, kicked back on a stripey towel, with her sunhat to one side, keen to top up her tan during her hard-earned day off.

The brunette ditched her blue jeans in favour of a red, white and blue two-piece that contrasted the colours of her beach towel.

She made a beach day look effortlessly stylish and tipped her retro shades from her nose before layering on a fringed cover up to leave after her sun-soaked afternoon was complete.

Blue Jeans singer Lana seemed to have very little on her mind during her lazy beach day, without so much as the sound of own LP in her ears, the brunette wiled away the hours with her phone, before a little snooze underneath her sunhat.

Lana debuted her music video for Freak in February and previously released the song High By The Beach from the new album.

After dropping some new music, Lana has booked out her whole summer to play music festivals, including California's Outside Lands and Ireland's Electric Picnic.

Talking about her summer ahead on Instagram, the musician wrote: 'Ladies and gentlemen, I'm coming to some of the most beautiful places in the world this summer for festivals.

'Absolutely can't wait to see everyone on our way through Switzerland, Greece, Ireland and many more stops until we eventually play back home in August in California.'

Lana will no doubt be roaming solo, after splitting from 33-year-old Italian photographer boyfriend Francesco Carrozzini.

The duo separated in November after dating for more than a year, as he reportedly wasn't ready to settle down.
