German supermodel and business woman Heidi Klum made her highly anticipated appearance on TV show Bondi Rescue on Tuesday.

The 42-year-old joined lifeguards Ryan 'Whippet' Clark, Michael 'Mouse' Jenkinson and Greg 'Bisho' Bishop at Sydney's Bondi Beach for a photoshoot to promote her men's underwear range.

In the scenes - which were shot earlier this year when the star was in Australia - she shows off her trim pins in a dress and after the shoot exclaims: 'Lifeguards at Bondi are the best and the hottest!'

The former Victoria's Secret model can first be seen walking to the beach and turning to promenade into a catwalk as she struts up to the lifeguard tower.

Once she greets the boys, they head onto the dry sand and pose up with the boys who are wearing underwear from her men's like HK Man, underneath their board shorts.

The boys seemed thrilled to see the supermodel, albeit a little nervous, with Greg saying in a piece to camera: 'To meet Heidi Klum is like, once in a lifetime kind of thing.'

'I've watched the Victoria's Secret show as a kid growing up. Wait, not as a kid probably as an adult,' he said with a laugh.

Ahead of the day, Michael when to the physio and had cup suctioning done on his chest which left visible bruises, while Ryan went for a surf and was stung in the face by a blue bottle.

'I was looking absolutely terrible for it,' Michael said.

He humorously added: 'When she came down to Bondi she was expecting a couple of six foot plus good looking blokes and instead she got me and Whippet looking our absolute worst.'

Meanwhile, at one point, Anthony 'Harries' Carroll wasn't involved in the shoot but watched the boys pose with Heidi and commented: 'Before I get into my underwear, I get a spray tan.'

He has previously stripped off for underwear brand Mojo Downunder.
