Pregnant Liv Tyler cradled her son Sailor in her arms as she doted on her bundle of joy during a leisurely stroll on New York on Tuesday.

The 38-year-old walked alongside a pal as she covered her bump in a padded jacket and skinny jeans as she kept her one-year-old boy close to her.

She completed the look in a pair of flat thigh-high boots and carried a crossover body bag as she made her way to her next destination.

Wearing her long brunette locks in a tousled fashion, the star of the silver screen, was making the most of some time off work.

Her little boy was carefully wrapped up in a blue jacket and colourful jersey trousers, while Liv's friend pushed the stroller for her. 

Liv's fiancé, football agent Dave Gardner was not pictured with the group on the day.

She also has a son, Milo, 11, whose father is Liv's ex-husband Royston Langdon of the rock group Spacehog. Dave also has an eight-year-old Grey from a previous relationship.

The couple, who have been together since 2014, were delighted to announce in January that they are expecting another child. 

Liv wrote: 'Oh my goodness it seems the stork is visiting us again!

'I am growing another little Tyler Gardner in my belly. Our family is growing! Grateful. @davegardner I love you.'

Liv Tyler was spotted out in chilly NYC, all bundled up in a luxe shearling jacket and opted for a silky LDB embroidered with a folk-inspired design. The designer, Parisian Isabel Marant, is known for her boho-meets-French chic designs, and this dress is the perfect example of that, fusing luxurious fabrics with free-spirited fashion.

The couple reportedly got engaged over Christmas in 2014.

Last year, Liv talked about how much she admires her good friend Kate Moss, who set her up with Dave. 

She told Vogue: 'Kate is a magical unicorn. She was doing all these poses for me and I was trying to mimic her. 

'I love how she doesn't give a f***, she just moves in these free ways, and of course what I was doing didn't look anything like what she was doing. I felt like a total amateur.'
