The Skinny Girl entrepreneur tried to make light of things, joking: 'I figured If I’m going to get divorced I’m going to have the longest, and best and most expensive divorce.'

But in reality, the 45-year-old Real Housewives Of New York castmember has described the long-running divorce as financially and emotionally ruinous.

On the season premiere of RHONY, that also aired Wednesday, Bethenny talked about how she'd received an electric bill for $725 for her former marital home where Hoppy remains.

‘I’m about to cry…this is the longest divorce in history and until it’s over the bills keep coming in,’ she griped.

Bethenny wed Hoppy in 2010, the same year their daughter Brynn was born.

They separated in December 2012 and initially she allowed him to remain in the Manhattan apartment they shared to allow him to be close to their daughter after she filed for divorce in 2013.

But the 3,400 sq ft Tribeca loft was a source of consternation, with both sides refusing to give it up, and in January the reality star formally petitioned a judge to evict her ex.

She herself moved into a $4.2 million apartment she purchased in the Soho neighborhood of the city.

'It’s gnarly and, you know, I didn’t see it as being this way and here we are,' she told Cohen on WWHL.

'It’s a learning experience and I’m feeling better and stronger and I’m happy. I’m coming out on the other side.'

The new episode of the Bravo reality show opened with Bethenny showing off her new condo to co-star Dorinda Medley.

She pointed out that the vast closet, complete with jewelry safe, was 'far smaller' than her last one.

She also took along a new date Jon to meet the Housewives, even though she's sworn she will never legally marry again.

'Bethenny’s date reminds me of her soon-to-be ex-husband. How weird is that?’ Dorinda commented.
