Pedalling away the pounds! Russell Crowe continues his daily workout routine with a ride around New York after revealing his 24 kilogram weight loss
He revealed he lost a whopping 24 kilos after piling on the pounds for his latest movie, The Nice Guy.
And it seems actor Russell Crowe, 51, is adhering to his strict exercise regimen after he was spotted riding his bike through the busy streets of New York City on Wednesday.
The Hollywood A-lister looked every inch the cycling pro in his light blue thermal jacket, Adidas tracksuit pants and a pair of blue joggers.

The father-of-two also made sure to keep up with safety standards, wearing a sleek black riding helmet and a bright yellow reflective band around the ankle.
He rested a pair of glasses over his eyes and also displayed his trademark salt and pepper beard as he pedalled around the city with a pal.
The Gladiator star weaved in and out of the heavily congested streets on his black road bike, showing his dedication to being fit and healthy.

At one stage during ride, the star was seen jumping out of his seat to push the pedals quickly along the pavement.
And following his sweat session the New Zealand native hopped off his bike for a quick break.
But it seemed the star couldn’t catch a breath without passersby noticing his famous facial features.
Once he was rested, the South Sydney Rabbitohs club owner chatted away on his phone.

A day earlier, the father-of-two showed off his slimmer figure in a dapper grey coat with fur trimmings teamed with jeans.
He accessorised his off-duty look with a blue and white stripped scarf.
Russell pondered the pavement with the same shoes he wore for his bike session.
Meanwhile, the film producer and musician revealed he had lost 24kgs during a radio interview with Nova 969's Fitzy & Wippa back in March, crediting regular exercise with the loss.
'I was 121.6 kilos the first week of August last year,' he told the show's hosts.

'I did a movie called The Nice Guys, so I wanted to be the physical juxtaposition of Ryan Gosling.'
'So I'm clawing my way back from that,' the actor added.
In the movie, Russell plays a contract killer alongside Ryan Gosling who portrays a private investigator.

Speaking with Access Hollywood about the weight gain he said: 'If you want to put on weight, you just elect to live a sedentary lifestyle.
'Just as soon as you stop actually being active and decide to eat whatever you want, then these two things will combine very quickly.'
