The ‘I’m flying’ scene from James Cameron's epic movie, Titanic, is one of the most iconic love scene ever created on-screen.

And so it seems fitting for The Bachelor’s Richie Strahan to re-enact the romantic moment as he treated a pretty contestant to a date out on sea in Sydney, on Thursday afternoon.

Standing on what appeared to be the main mast, the potential lovebirds were seen with their arms stretched wide apart, reminiscent of Kate Winslet and Leonardo Di Caprio in the popular film.

The pair appeared to be in great and content spirits as they enjoyed a few laughs and giggles while getting to know each a little better.

At one point, Australian hunk Richie was seen showing off his athletic stance as he did a handstand in order to pick something up from the deck.

The 30-year-old was dressed appropriately for the occasion, rocking a plain burgundy T-shirt with black denim jeans and plain white trainers.

Meanwhile, the busty blonde happily showcased her toned curves and tanned midriff in a plunging crop-top and cropped skintight jeans, while her facial features were perfectly made-up.

Moments later, the pair were seen talking to each other intently as they kicked back and sat down for a breather as cameras rolled.

Last month, it was confirmed that Richie had been picked be Australia's fourth Bachelor, following his impressive stint on The Bachelorette - where he competed for Sam Frost's heart.

'To be honest I couldn't believe they called me up to ask,' he told The Daily Telegraph. 'I'm a very private person and it's a really big decision to put yourself out in the public arena again.'

The handsome star - who will have 19 ladies vying for his attention - is following in the footsteps of previous incumbents, Tim Robards, Blake Garvey and Sam Wood - all of whom have found love on the show.

During a recent interview with OK! Magazine, the Perth native opened up about love and said he isn't yet ready to get married so a proposal on the show is highly unlikely.

Later adding:' I don't just dive into something like that willy-nilly - I need to travel and live with this person first.'

Elsewhere, the new film set for the popular series has been moved from Hunters Hill on Sydney's Shore to Abbott Place, Glenorie, outside Sydney.
