She's back! Actress Melissa George cradles five-month-old baby Solal as she returns home to Australia 

She has been busy spruiking her new TV series, Heartbeat. 

And it seems Melissa George has taken a well-deserved break and returned home to her native Australia with her five-month-old son, Solal Samuel Glenn Blanc.

The 39-year-old actress was spotted leaving Icebergs restaurant in Bondi on Tuesday evening cradling her cherubic tot in her arms.

Melissa appeared awe of her little boy who was swaddled in a white knitted blanket.

The doting mother-of-two was in high spirits as she emerged from the restaurant smiling while gently resting her son's head against her cheek.

The Hollywood A-lister opted for a baby pink shift dress which boasted long sleeves and pleats.

She teamed the sophisticated dress with a pair of ivory pointed shoes, which further accentuated her lithe and toned legs. 

Melissa styled her luscious blonde locks out and straight, while enhancing her big blue eyes with thick lashings of mascara and eyeliner. 

She added a dusting of pink powder onto her alabaster cheeks and a layer of red gloss onto her plump lips.

Meanwhile, Solal was dressed in a pair of grey trousers and matching socks. 

His shirt was hidden underneath a warm blanket which was wrapped around his tiny body.

The Perth-born star has returned home after scoring the leading role in the hit U.S. medical series, Heartbeat.

She plays world-renowned heart transplant surgeon Dr. Alex Panttiere in the drama.

Speaking to Monsters and Critics about her new role, Melissa said: 'Medical or no medical experience, it’s based on a real woman – a fantastic book about the tribulations, triumphs and tragedies of a female in a man’s world, saving lives with a lover, a mentor that comes back, a husband who’s gay with a rock and roll career, and two kids.

'She’s crazy,' she told the publication.

'It's everything you want. I’ve worked hard a long time and I’ve done roles that are difficult and dramatic and this was just really touching with humour.

'I needed that in my life right now, to go to work and have fun, save lives and have fun.'

The perfect role: The 39-year-old told Monsters and Critics that her new role was perfect for her, saying 'I needed that in my life right now, to go to work and have fun, save lives and have fun.'
