'My baby is getting so big!' Victoria Beckham gushes over sporty son Romeo, 13, in sweet Instagram post as he shoots some hoops in Hollywood

His dad is one of the world's most famous sportsmen.

But it looks like Romeo Beckham's US upbringing has had an affect on his choice of sport as he was seen showing off some impressive basketball skills in an Instagram photo shared by his proud mum Victoria on Wednesday.

The action shot shows the 13-year-old mid leap as he aims a shot at the basketball hoop outside the family's Los Angeles home.

Victoria captioned the stunning black and white image: 'Good morning Hollywood X Romeo loving some basketball!! My baby is getting so big!! I ❤️ U X #proudmummy X vb.'

Romeo is a big basketball fan and is regularly spotted court side with his dad David and brothers Brooklyn, 17, and Cruz, 11, for Lakers games when the family decamp to the US for the school holidays.

As well as his basketball talents, keen sportsman Romeo has joined older brother Brooklyn in Arsenal's academy and is also said to be a skilled tennis player.

Sports fan: Romeo is a big basketball fan and is regularly spotted court side with his dad David and brothers Brooklyn, 17, and Cruz, 11, for Lakers games when the family decamp to the US for the school holidays.

The teen also competed in the children's race at the London Marathon last April.

He was raising money for UNAIDS, the joint United Nations programme on Aids, and David's Unicef 7 fund.

The youngster is also making a name for himself in the modelling world, starring in high profile campaigns for the likes of Burberry, following his designer mother into the fashion world.

The Beckhams are currently enjoying a family break in West Hollywood where they've been spotted keeping active out and about, with family trips to the gym and spinning classes.

As well as sharing the sweet snap of Romeo, proud mum Victoria has also been sharing gushing posts of her youngest's artistic talents this week.

Harper, four, made her mum proud on Monday when she painted a vibrant picture on canvas.

Using an easel and working outdoors for inspiration, the youngster looked to have an eye for art as she went about mixing bold colours with large brush strokes.
