Rob Kardashian is thought to have made his proposal to Blac Chyna very special indeed.

According to TMZ, the 29-year-old used 500 roses and candlelight to create ambiance when he asked for her hand in marriage at her house on Monday night.

The old romantic popped the question after little more than three months but the magnitude of the engagement made it look like he'd been planning it for years.

The website revealed: 'He proposed with hundreds of rose petals' before joking: 'he adorned the place with enough candles to light up a Justin Bieber concert at Staples [Center].'

Insiders told the website that Chyna's mother Shalana Hunter was present when she walked into a decorated room with Rob.

Her proposed with a seven carat, round brilliant cut diamond, set in an eternity band, and to his question, it's claimed that she said: 'Of course, baby! You know I love you!'

While it may seem like Chyna was overwhelmed by their special engagement night, it seems that Rob is no novice when it comes to getting down on one knee.

Rob is said to have bragged to the Kardashian family about proposing to ex-girlfriends Rita Ora and Adrienne in previous relationships.

Kim, Khloe and Kourtney's only brother is considered something of a 'serial proposer' by the inner circle, which would explain why the Kardashian family are yet to make light of it on social media.

The family are thought to be taking it lightly because they don't think Rob's latest engagement 'will stick' considering his previous history of falling quickly for women and then popping the question.

If Rob and Chyna were to get married, it would make her the only woman to officially pass on Robert Kardashian's family name.

It would also make Rob the step father of King Cairo, Blac Chyna's son by ex-boyfriend and rapper Tyga, who is now dating Rob's half sister Kylie Jenner.

The familial relationship would certainly make for a confusing one if Kylie, 18, were to then marry 26-year-old Tyga.

But Tyga has already given his blessing to the couple, becoming the first member of the extended family to respond.

He wrote on Twitter: 'Everybody deserves 2 be happy. What some1 does for their happiness is not my concern, as long as it's not interfering wit my happiness.'

'It makes me happy to see the mother of my son happy,' he added before going on to defend his three-year-old son, 'My only concern in this situation is my son. I want him in happy environments.'

'He's innocent in this. & I want him to feel as much love as possible. Only an evil heart would direct negativity at a child & make fun of him for being in a situation that is out of his control.'

Chyna's friend Amber Rose also offered some words of support when she chimed in: 'No y'all can start making some babies.'
