She is known for her outspoken nature. 

But Michelle Rodriguez has complained her comments that she is jealous her Fast And Furious co-star Paul Walker died first were used 'out of context.'

The actress also said she was sorry her musings were utilised to promote the documentary The Reality Of Truth, and said she would not have taken part if she knew how her words would be portrayed.

The 37-year-old told TMZ: 'That's the people from the documentary using things out of context.

'I had a deep moment and I said something that, you know, was personal.

'It was exploited and I apologise about that, but if I knew it was being promoted that way I wouldn't have been involved.

It comes after she revealed in an interview for the documentary that said she felt jealous that Paul, who was killed in a high speed car accident, died before her after she took a psychedelic drug

They pair co-starred in several of the Fast and the Furious films including the 2015 sequel Furious 7 that was the last to feature Paul.

The Lost actress said that after losing Paul she spent about a year coping with it by keeping distracted.

She said: 'Just physically what could I do to get my mind off existentialism and how transient life is.'

The Girlfight star said she went 'crazy, nuts, berserko' the summer after Walker died as she tried 'to hide from myself.'

She said: 'My ayahuasca trip made me sad that he left me here. It wasn't a sadness that he's gone. It was more of a jealousy that he's there first.'

The Reality Of Truth documentary is presented by Deepak Chopra and Mike 'Zappy' Zapolin and features interviews examining 'true reality through spirituality, meditation, and psychedelics', according to its website.

A clip showed Rodriguez taking part in a ayahuasca ceremony and drinking a brew of the traditional spiritual medicine.

Paul died while riding with pro driver and friend Roger Rodas who was behind the wheel of a 2005 Porsche Carrerra GT when it was involved in a high-speed single-vehicle collision.

He appeared posthumously in Furious 7 with his brothers Caleb and Cody serving as stand-ins to complete his remaining scenes.

Filming on the sequel Fast 8 started last month and the next installment is due out on April 14, 2017.
