And on Saturday the 40-year-old actress was flaunting her personal style as she paraded her casual country chic look while entering the Greenwich Hotel in New York City.

The mother-of-three paired a checkered button-up shirt with a white sweater and blue coat.

On April 2 Reese was seen heading into LAX airport in Los Angeles.

She was not alone for the trip as she was joined by her lookalike daughter Ava Phillippe, 16 as they enjoyed the outing of mother-daughter bonding together.

She accessorised the look with a pair of circular mirrored retro shades and a large white designer bag as a coat was draped over her forearm.

Ava is Reese's only daughter and her eldest child with ex-husband Ryan Phillipe, who she divorced in 2007 after eight years of marriage. The couple also have a 12-year-old son, Deacon.

Reese definitely seems to be a cool mom and is quite active on social media as she took to Instagram on Thursday to take advantage of one of the picture-sharing social network's new features.

'I heard that Instagram now has 60 minutes of video, which is so exciting because one of my favourite shows on CBS, ever since I was little, was 60 Minutes,' she deadpanned to a camera.

'So I've decided I'm going to talk to everybody for exactly 60 minutes and when 60 minutes is done, I'm going to add another 60 minutes even though I'm not sure I can talk for that long.'

On Saturday Reese also wishes her pal Shannon Rotenberg a happy birthday with an Instagram snap.
