Europe was teetering on the edge of disaster last night as fears grew that the Greek government is about to collapse.

Markets nosedived around the world, with billions wiped off the value of Britains leading firms, as Athens announced extraordinary plans to sack its military leaders amid rampant speculation that it was trying to head off a coup detat.

Its all over. The government is about to collapse, said one Greek official. Greeces former deputy finance minister Petros Doukas agreed: The **** has hit the fan.

This is further indication if it were needed that the time is here for the UK to exit this re-run of the Soviet before it totally drags us down.

Dave - you opportunity to be remembered as an outstanding PM is here, seize it while you can.

What ever happens we are all going to feel it, Greece held the referendum because they know that the public won't accept the package, the PM remains in power and saves some face in the public eye, he then goes back to the EU council and says we need more money or more wiping of the debt, if we don't wipe the debt the go bust - we lose, if we wipe the debt the EU loses billions - we lose, the Greek Pm will just hold out until he get what he wants.

I think Cameron knows that we are in a no win situation, if we pull out of the EU then we stand to lose billions, if it was that easy and we didn't stand to lose anything then I'm guessing he would just do it, I think it's more of a case that the Greek PM has us all over a barrel and he knows it.

Those of us who opposed U.K. membership of the Common Market and its morph into the behemoth of the E.U , have always believed that eventually our arguments would succeed, and that truth would prevail over lies. It has been a long wait; but a wait worth waiting for. Yes, we are seeing the beginning of the end; and it cannot come to soon for the the sake of the future of our nation and its people.

Therein lies the solution,,If we are going to lose billions while in the EU and lose billions out of the EU ,it becomes a no brainer ..Get out and leave them to their dreams..

A fair and valid point but would we lose more by leaving? Believe me I was against the whole thing from the start, but now we are in is there any way out that would not hurt us irrevocably.
