'I didn't know until it happened': Yolanda Hadid admits being 'blindsided' by divorce from David Foster and insists she doesn't regret signing a pre-nup

Yolanda Hadid admitted she was 'blindsided' when estranged husband David Foster asked for a divorce.

The 52-year-old former model opened up about their split during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday.

When host Andy Cohen asked in the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills reunion if she was 'blindsided' by the divorce, Yolanda admitted: 'Yeah. I didn't think that was the end of the road.'

And while she has defended her composer ex over the split, she made it clear that she expected him to at least stick by her during her battle with Lyme Disease.

'I would have hoped to wait until I got 100 per cent well,' she said in the reunion clip.

Yolanda looking tanned and healthy insisted she only realised her marriage was over once taping had ended for the reality show, with extra footage about it only filmed for the finale later.

'I didn't know until November 15th and we had already wrapped shooting and the show was done,' she insisted. 'I know exactly the day.'

When she was asked if she was still in touch with David, she said: 'Yeah, we are in touch a little bit here and there, yeah.'

The reunion clip also showed how she in part blames herself and her illness for the divorce, insisting that 'I don't think anybody should criticize' David for leaving.

'You can't underestimate how much it takes for a man to care of somebody that's sick all the time,' she said when asked why they split.

'He didn't change - I'm the one that changed. And I guess this is the outcome of that.'

Yolanda smiled when asked if she had signed a prenup, saying: 'Of course, Hollywood baby.'

But asked if she was disappointed with the deal she struck at the time, she insisted: 'I married for love, not money.'

Yolanda also admitted that Lisa Vanderpump's claims on their reality show that her first ex-husband, Mohamed Hadid, said their children Bella, 19, and Anwar, 16, were not sick had damaged the close relationship Lisa had with him.

'They haven't spoken for eight months, since she made the statement that Mohamed said the children aren't sick,' she said. 'He hasn't spoken to her since.'

The Dutch beauty insisted that she didn't think Lisa 'dislikes me' but they had never 'had an intimate friendship like girlfriends should have,' with Andy insisting the Brit felt otherwise.

'It's a Hollywood friendship, let's put it that way,' she said.

And Yolanda - who said she 'should've just moved to Tahiti and stayed there' after a recent vacation there - also made it clear that recent feuds on the housewives season had not been resolved.

Yolanda's best friend and RHOBH castmate Erika Girardi joined her on the chat show and proudly boasted of how exposed her breasts were in her jumpsuit.

Yolanda played a game where she was asked if she was still fond with castmates.

She gave a firm 'no' to Lisa Rinna, a 'not really' for Lisa Vanderpump, 'medium' to Kyle Richards and yeses for Eileen Davidson, Kathryn Edwards, Erika Girardi, and Vanderpump's husband Ken Todd, saying: 'I don't have a problem with him this season.'

Praised by Andy for seeming 'the best I've seen you in a long time,' Yolanda agreed: 'I'm feeling better and better every day. It's coming - slowly.'

The host had a complete different reaction to Erika, telling her: 'I can't stop looking at your boobs, and neither can Yolanda I have to say.'

Later in the show he suddenly blurted out 'stop staring at Erika's boobs - I can't!' to which the singer smiled: 'That's the point. I did it on purpose.'

When she teased him that he might really be straight, he smiled: 'I'm so gay but I love tits!'

Then, after a viewer asked about Erika's outfit, she joked: 'You wanna know who makes my boobs? I'm not telling!'
