'I'm a famous plus-size model': Amy Schumer pokes fun of Glamour magazine during appearance on The Tonight Show

Amy Schumer poked fun of Glamour magazine on Tuesday during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The 34-year-old comedian arched her back, pulled in her stomach and sucked in her cheeks while sitting next to the chat show host in a black long-sleeved blouse and bright orange skirt.

'For those of you who don't know who I am, I'm a famous plus-size model,' Amy said.

Be bold in a dress by Victoria Victoria Beckham this season

Who says funny women can't be gorgeous? Not us.

With Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Sarah Silverman and Amy Schumer on the scene, that old adage is well past its sell by date. And Ms Schumer proved her fashion credentials once again as she made an appearance on the Tonight Show.

Wearing a cute little number by Victoria, Victoria Beckham, Amy looked sleek, chic and ready for spring. We love a bit of colour blocking and the combination of navy blue with a bright tomato red is a winner, and very VB.

So why not invest in this versatile dress now? It'll take you from the boardroom to the bar with ease so will be worth every penny of the $950 price tag. Click (right) to snap it up now at Net-a-Porter and style with tonal heels like Amy to complete the look.

Or shop around if that's your thing, starting with our edit below. We've found similar colorblocking at every price from luxe Emilio Pucci to a steal at Warehouse. Don't forget to complete the look with those citrus-y Louboutin So Kate pumps.

The Trainwreck star was none too pleased earlier this month when she was included in a special edition of Glamour celebrating 'chic at any size'.

The cover didn't refer to her as plus-size but she was mentioned as one of several women 'who inspire us' along with plus-size model Ashley Graham, Melissa McCarthy and Adele.

Amy told chat show host Jimmy that she 'loves' Glamour and the 'great things' the magazine has done for women.

'But people don't like being classified. We don't need these labels,' she said.
