NYC's 2016 FarmBorough Festival Canceled

The 2016 FarmBorough Festival with headlining sets by Toby Keith, Jason Aldean and Tim McGraw at Randall's Island Park in New York City has been canceled.

Tickets for the event slated for June 17-19 went on sale just last week, but according to a statement on the festival's Facebook page from Monday, organizers said, "but conditions dictate that we redirect our energy at this time."

"We appreciate the opportunity you afforded us to present FarmBorough in New York City, and apologize for any inconvenience," the statement continued.

All festival and ferry passes will be refunded. More information is available at the festival's website

This was to be FarmBorough's second year. Upon its debut last year, it became the first every country music festival in New York City. 

Brooks and Dunn, Kacey Musgraves, Brantley GilbertA Thousand HorsesThomas RhettBilly Currington, LonestarDavid Nail and Eric Paslay were all slated to perform as well.
