'Not for wimps': Rosie O'Donnell shares photo of bandaged arm after painful tattoo removal

Rosie O'Donnell is undergoing a painful tattoo removal.

The comedian shared an image of her bandaged upper arm with fans on Twitter on Friday.

'Tattoo removal - not for wimps,' she wrote.

The 54-year-old looked serious as she pointed to the white bandage taped to her arm.

The former The View host is having a large, circular inking removed. The red-and-black design features human figures reaching to a sun in the center.

Tattoo removal typically requires a number of painful laser sessions.

Rosie also has a tattoo of an eye inside an hourglass on the back of her neck, and a large, colorful floral design around her right ankle.

The comedian last week took to a Broadway stage during a performance of Disaster! to sing a song blasting Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

The pair have had a long-running feud since 2006, with Trump blasting Rosie as 'a loser' and 'crude, rude, obnoxious and dumb,' while she called him 'an a**'.

Taking to the stage, Rosie sang along to a Grease parody, crooning: 'There are worse things I could do, and I’ll now name one or two. These are things he’s said or done, just sit back, let’s have some fun.

'I could build a giant wall, Mexico pays for it all. And repeal Obamacare, do that weird thing with my hair. It’s a comb over, it’s true, that’s a thing I’d never do. 

'Get endorsements from the Klan, brag about my tiny hands. Ban all Muslims coming in, and have bright-orange skin, that's a shade I eschew.'

The former The View host last month finalized her divorce from second wife, Michelle Rounds, after a nasty custody battle.

Rosie and her IT consultant ex, 44, were wed for just over two years before Rosie filed for divorce in February 2015.

They had a contentious custody battle over their three-year-old daughter Dakota, but settled in the fall with joint legal custody.

During the divorce battle, Michelle requested that Rosie be subjected to drug tests due to what she alleged was regular marijuana use and drinking.
