She jetted back to Los Angeles this week to be reunited with footballer husband Steven.

And Alex Gerrard seems to be over the jet lag and settling back into California life perfectly as she hit the shops on Thursday.

The 33-year-old WAG looked as though she had come from one of her regular workouts as she showed off her svelte figure in leggings and a bright vest top.

Alex was seen checking out Beverly Hills' boutiques with a pal in the California sunshine, one day after jetting back to the States from the UK.

The blonde beauty flaunted her gym-honed figure in a pair of black leggings teamed with a turquoise vest top and monochrome sneakers.

She added a pair of shades while her long locks were pulled back into a high ponytail after her workout.

Alex has been splitting her time between her new base in LA and her home in Liverpool for the past year.  

Along with their three children, Lilly, 11, Lexie, nine, and four-year-old Lourdes, Alex and Steven moved from Merseyside to California last year after the Liverpool FC skipper signed a contract with LA Galaxy.

Steven signed an 18-month contract with the club but has hinted he will retire this year as he's found the football in America 'challenging and difficult'.

But whilst they may only have moved Stateside for his career, there's no guarantee the family will move back to England as the footballer admitted that he's fallen in love with his new home.

Talking to CNN recently, he said: 'There's so much to do out here for myself and my family.

'It's been a smooth transition off the pitch and hopefully this year I can be a success and then I'll go away very, very happy.

'Whatever you want to do it's available. It's just a super place to live.'
