That's what you call body art! Amazing UV pictures painted onto naked women celebrate the female form using images of sunsets, tropical oceans and mountains lit by moonlight
John Poppleton, from California, creates mindblowing works of art painted directly onto human skin using fluorescent shades. His project, called Under Black Light, consists of 'bodyscapes' of spectacular natural phenomena such as African sunsets, tropical oceans during rainstorm, and mountain ranges under moonlight. In more otherworldly, eerie designs the artist depicts cosmic scenes of stars, galaxies and shimmering auroras. ...read

Artist, 24, creates stunning sculptures using beaches as her blank canvas just one month after picking up a rake for first time
Chloe Dickey drew a huge floral design on a Port Macquarie beach on Saturday in under two hours. The 24-year-old from Lake Cathie, NSW, works in the wet sand at low tide meaning her drawings don't stick around for long when the waves roll in.

Cheers To The Fall (Buskin)
Discovered in an American shopping arcade and now mentored by Stevie Wonder, singer-songwriter Andra Day revels in the same melodramatic mix of retro-soul and Sixties girl-pop that made Amy Winehouse a star. On this stylish debut, inspired by a break-up, she also shares Amy's ability to bare her soul. `I should have known I'd lose everything,' she sings, and her vulnerability is tangible.

La Passione (Jazzee Blue)
This audio-visual treat repackages motor racing obsessive Rea's 1996 film and album as a glossy coffee table book. Inspired by German Formula One driver Wolfgang Von Trips, killed on the track in 1961, its mixture of husky-voiced jazz and opulent, Italian-influenced orchestrations has dated surprisingly well. With fresh archive footage added, it is unashamedly nostalgic for a more glamorous age.

No Jacket Required (Atlantic)
The latest installment of Atlantic's ongoing Phil Collins series shines fresh light on 1985's No Jacket Required, the drummer-turned-singer's biggest solo album. The familiar, funky ingredients are present on Sussudio, but the jabbing synths and period drums sound dated. The extra disc - Extra Long Jacket Required - features a haunting rough take of One More Night plus a live Easy Lover.

Born To Boogie (Demon)
One of the hundreds of new releases coming out on vinyl for national Record Store Day, this double live album captures glam-rock heroes T. Rex at the height of Bolan-mania in 1972. Among the high points of an electrifying Wembley gig are Jeepster, Hot Love and Get It On. Expect queues for this, plus picture discs by David Bowie (TVC15) and Justin Bieber (Purpose).

Cleopatra (Decca)
Hailed as America¿s answer to Mumford & Sons ¿ with a dash of Dylan and a suggestion of Springsteen ¿ New Jersey¿s Lumineers move up a gear on this second album. Simplicity reigns, although Neyla Pekarek¿s strings give these songs a warmer, wider-ranging sweep. The propulsive title track tells a taxi driver¿s tale. Ophelia is fuelled by Stelth Ulvang¿s rolling piano and a singalong chorus.

The Hope Six Demolition Project (Island)
Mining the same, vivid seam as 2011's Let England Shake, PJ Harvey's ninth album was inspired by visits to Kosovo, Afghanistan and Washington. It's an uneasy ride, with River Anacostia a vivid snapshot of a downtrodden America. But, while her gaze is unflinching, Harvey doesn't preach, and the bluesy crunch of the best songs here signal a welcome return to the rockier feel of her early albums.
