Bromance is brewing! Chris Hemsworth larks around with James Corden as the pair fire ping pong balls off each other on his Late Late show

One's a British comedian with a self-deprecating charm and the other's a Hollywood heartthrob.

But Chris Hemsworth and James Corden seemed to become fast friends on the latter's U.S. talk show this week.

The Australian actor was joined by co-stars from his forthcoming film, The Huntsman, for the appearance, chatting about the drama with Emily Blunt, Jessica Chastain and Charlize Theron to the delight of viewers.

Once off topic however the father-of-three seemed eager to clue James in on some of his famous family traditions.

Introducing his fellow actors and the show's host to a game he and brothers Luke and Liam played, he said excitedly: 'We play this game called sting pong,if you lost you had to take your shirt off and a ball on the back.'

James, eager to see him in action, urged him to remove his shirt for the audience.

Jessica Chastain and Charlize Theron joined him in pleading the hunk to remove his tight blue shirt, but had to settle for just the removal of his jacket.

Once suitably stripped down, he allowed Corden to fire ping pong balls at his back before returning the gesture.

All in good funl Charlize Theron and Emily Blunt struggled to keep their composure during the segment

Applying slightly more force than the comedian in his own effort, Chris offered his apologies after slapping him with the balls.

The pair then hugged while the women composed themselves from the fun-filled segment.

The stars all appear in the forthcoming film, The Huntsman: Winter's War, which will be released across the U.S. on Friday.

It is the latest in a franchise which has seen Hemsworth take on the starring role in each film.
