And Catherine Tyldesley upped the glamour in a sleek and sophisticated black jumpsuit as she attended the launch of new beauty salon Sundays in Prestwich, Manchester on Thursday evening.

The 32-year-old Coronation Street actress looked sensational in the cropped ensemble, featuring a flattering halterneck cut with choker detailing.

Catherine set off the ensemble with a pair of tan wedges, a simple pendant necklace and a rust-coloured clutch.

The soap star showed off her trim physique and gym-honed arms; the result of her intense fitness regime since giving birth last year.

The Corrie favourite - who plays Eva Price in the ITV show - opted for soft, natural make-up and wore her hair pulled back in a ponytail.

She was joined by her co-stars Katie McGlynn - best known for playing Sinead Tinker - and Tisha Merry (Steph Britton) for a girls' night out at the new pampering salon.

The star has reportedly signed a new £100,000 contract with Corrie, meaning that Eva will be on the cobbles for at least another year.

A source told The Sun: 'She's a real star and has a great future on the cobbles.'

She explained: 'I adore Corrie... but there are lots of other things I want to do, and I want to be versatile, so it would be nice to go off and do other bits and pieces.

'But I would hope that no matter what happens, 'Corrie' will always be somewhere I can come home to. I'd love to see Eva at 80-odd, still behind the Rovers bar with her boobs up to here, setting the world to rights.'

The event was somewhat of a soap reunion as former Emmerdale star Gemma Atkinson and Corrie's Ryan Thomas also attended.

While the ex-Hollyoaks star was a little reluctant, the Jason Grimshaw actor relished the chance to get close to her and even kissed her on the lips.
