Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth join movie co-stars Jessica Chastain and Emily Blunt for silly visit to The Late Late Show

Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, Jessica Chastain, and Emily Blunt appeared together on The Late Late Show With James Corden on Thursday to promote their new new fantasy adventure film.

The stars of The Huntsman: Winter's War soon showed their silly sides as they constantly teased each other, sang along with the host and performed two separate dances.

Chris, 32, then played a ping pong game he usually plays with his two famous brothers - letting James fire balls into his back before finally getting his revenge by stinging the host’s bottom with a shot of his own.

The hunky actor even handed over his mobile for a game of Cell Phone Profile.

James showed his viewers how Chris listens to Katy Perry, has a picture of a naked friend confronting a donkey on a field, and was sent a text by his trainer saying: ‘Get out of bed your[sic] getting fat.’

Even while discussing making their new movie, the silliness ruled, with Emily, 33, complaining that their corsets and dresses left them ’really gassy’ all the time.

She then recalled Charlize, 40, letting out ‘the longest burp ever’ while they filmed

It was a ‘really intense scene,’ with the Mad Max: Fury Road star admitting: ‘You can’t digest - it just sort of gets stuck. I tend to eat my food after my close up is done - so I don’t really care about the other actors.’

The teasing had started as soon as they came out to chat, with Chris joking about the ‘constant abuse’ he got from working with the women, saying it was ‘mostly sexual harassment and bullying.’

He said that compared to the teasing he gets from his brothers, ‘women are a bit smarter than men, so it was a little tougher.’

Pregnant Emily, meanwhile, recalled the first time she met James - who later co-starred with her on Into The Woods - saying it was a ‘very pretentious polo match’ where they met Princes William and Harry.

‘Just the sort of circles we’re moving in,’ James said, making it clear the others were not included.

‘We drank champagne, had way too much to drink and sat next to James at the table and we ended up doing something so nerdy,’ Emily continued, with James recalling that they sang Frank Sinatra’s Something Stupid together in a corner.

Jessica then got them to sing it again on the show - before they got their revenge by getting Chris and Jessica to show their dance moves to the 80s hit She’s A Maniac, which they said they bonded over, with them all later doing a robot dance, too.

Jessica, 39, also shared some of her quirks - including her superstitions and how she was convinced the house she stayed in in London while filming their movie was haunted.

She recalled the lights dimming one night - leaving her bizarrely fearing she was having a stroke - before suddenly going super bright ‘like I was on some alien spaceship - and then it went pitch black.’

‘I was so tired I actually said, “Ok, I acknowledge you,”’ she recalled, cracking up the others.

''I understand you are here and I don’t want to kick you out I’m just very tired so please let me speak'',' she told the ghost.

‘It never happened again,’ she said proudly, with James deadpanning: ‘It must be true.’

Chris said he had a similar experience with lights while trying to give his baby a bottle, joking at the end: ‘I ran downstairs and left my kid there.’

Jessica also admitted that she relies on a ritual to cope with her fear of flying.

‘I’m afraid of flying and I fly all the time,’ she said.

‘I have this ritual that I use my right hand to touch the outside of the plane and I have to put both my feet at the lip of the door at the same time and just say in my head, “It’s going t be OK” before I enter the plane and then it won’t crash,' she revealed.

‘I have to plan it all so everything’s in my left hand so my right hand’s free. I’m sure look quite strange getting on the plane. But we’ve never crashed,' she added.
