MIDAS SHARE TIPS: How electric cars will help to boost Bacanora's lithium mine
Lithium used to be best known as a sedative and sufferers from bipolar disorder still take it. Today, however, lithium is far more widely recognised as a component of modern batteries. The metal's growing use should play into the hands of Bacanora Minerals, which is developing a massive lithium project in northern Mexico, close to the border with Arizona. The shares are 77p and should gain ground over the next few years as Bacanora moves towards commercial production.

So, it's a little surprising to see NFU Mutual chief executive Lindsay Sinclair enjoying a 16 per cent increase in his overall remuneration for the financial year 2015, according to accounts released on Friday. Sinclair enjoyed a financial package worth £1,753,149, compared to £1,508,418 in 2014 with more than £1million being paid for meeting various short and long-term performance targets.
All those Gocompare adverts have changed my life - I can make £300 per note I sing: Welsh tenor Wynne Evans on his job, property and cars
Wynne Evans, the Welsh tenor, thinks playing Gio Compario in the Gocompare insurance adverts is the best job he's ever had. The critically acclaimed opera singer - who drives a £30,000 Mercedes convertible with red seats, bathes in a hot tub he bought on eBay and typically spends £15 a week on cheese - says the money he earned from starring in the adverts has been life-changing.
How to build up your own tax haven without breaking any rules
Creating your own 'mini- tax haven' does not mean you have to break any rules or follow the super-rich and hide money offshore. There are now numerous ways to build long-term wealth in the UK without either falling foul of the taxman or incurring unwelcome tax charges. Jeff Prestridge looks at the options.
UK economic growth threatened as age crisis hits thousands of microbusinesses
There are five million such firms compared with just 3.5million 15 years ago and they make up 33 per cent of private sector employment. Research from BusinessesForSale.com has found 58.2 per cent of owners of these 'small but significant providers of employment and dutiful payers of tax' plan to work past the age of 66, with 75 per cent of them paying themselves equal to or less than the Living Wage.
RAY MASSEY: Would you buy this 'Pop Art' Bentley for £1m? One-off Continental GT designed by Beatles' artist Sir Peter Blake going up for charity auction
Sir Peter Blake, 83, added his artistic touch to a £165k Bentley Continental GT V8 S Convertible, which is to go under the hammer with Bonhams at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. All proceeds will be donated to the Care2Save Charitable Trust. Supporters hope the 191 mph work of art will raise up to £1 million.
The last hurrah for buy-to-let? Biggest ever distortion of the property market as landlords rushing to beat stamp duty hike send mortgages up 59%
A frantic rush by landlords and second home buyers to beat the new stamp duty deadline saw mortgage lending in March rocket 59 per cent higher than a year ago. The Council of Mortgage Lenders said it had seen the biggest stamp duty distortion of the property market ever, as buy-to-let purchasers stormed the market

Lloyds Bank to close 21 branches, cut 625 jobs and outsource roles to India in new cost-cutting drive, says trade union
The cuts are part of 9,000 job losses announced by the bank in 2014, in a restructure that will see a 10 per cent reduction in overall headcount. Unite regional officer John Morgan-Evans said: 'It is alarming that Lloyds are continuing to offshore IT roles in the name of driving down cost. This simply means that the bank want to pay an IT worker in India less for the same work carried out in the UK. This disastrous race to the bottom hurts our members and inevitably impacts customers.'
Would you buy a new-build home? I wouldn't, says SIMON LAMBERT, but I'd definitely like to build my own
Would you buy a brand new home? About 150,000 households did so last year - and the suggestion is that we need to almost double that - but I couldn't see myself joining them. Like many, the real reason why I wouldn't want to buy a new home is because I don't believe they are built big enough. Give us the chance to build our own and that would improve.

When using a cash machine, it is important to be alert for signs of criminal activity - of which there can be many.
