Mountain of food! Game of Thrones star Thor Bjornsson reveals his NINE meal-a-day diet on Instagram ahead of World's Strongest Man

All men must dine - but not all men dine as much as The Mountain Who Rides.

Game Of Thrones star Hafthór Júlíus Björnsson has revealed his daily diet on Instagram.

On Tuesday the 27-year-old posted his meal plan on Instagram as he prepares for this year's World's Strongest Man tournament.

The list contained more than four kilograms of food a day - including at least 14 eggs - ingested over nine meals between workouts.

'People been asking me a lot about my diet and what I eat!' he told his 336,000 followers. 'Here's my diet plan for my preparation for World's Strongest Man 2016! 

But he added: 'Yes this is a lot & I don't recommend YOU to try this!!'

The 6' 9", 400lb strongman starts his day at 6.50am with just a handful of almonds, some glutamine and branched-chain amino acid bodybuilding supplements, followed by a 30-minute cardio and core workout.

Breakfast at 7.30am features eight eggs, 200g of oats, blueberries, strawberries and avocado; while his second breakfast 9.30am consists of 400g of Beef, 400g of sweet potatoes, and a handful of spinach and greens.

At exactly 11.50am he takes more glutamine and BCAA, before lunch at noon: 400g of chicken plus 400g of potatoes, with greens and some fruits.

Just two hours later he throws 50g oats or sweet potatoes, 2 bananas 150g Kelloggs Rice Krispies, frozen berries, a handful almonds, peanut butter and glutamine all into a blender and drinks it down.

A half an hour later - with four meals in his belly - he heads for Strongman training, taking more supplements as he does.

At 5.30pm he downs 60g of protein and two bananas, followed a half hour later with 500g of beef with potatoes and greens.

At 8.30pm it's another 500g of salmon plus 500g of sweet potatoes, and after giving that a couple of hours to go down he swallows another six eggs, with avocado, almonds and peanut butter.

'Drink a lot of water throughout the day + Juices to get more calories!!' he said, adding that in the middle of the night he snacks on more protein or a few more raw eggs for good measure.

On Tuesday he also posted a video of himself lifting 'no huge weights' of 705lbs.

'Deadlifts today. No huge weights for me today but got plenty of work in with many sets at 320kg/705lbs,' he wrote.

However it is generally assumed his reanimated corpse is the true identity of Cersei Lannister's (Lena Headey) new silent champion and newest member of her son Tommen's Kingsguard, Ser Robert Strong. 

The Icelander has been Europe's Strongest Man two years running, and has placed in the top three of the World's Strongest Man for the past four years - but the top spot has thus far eluded him.
