The massive 20-room apartment (pictured) owned for decades by the late financier John Gutfreund, a onetime 'King of Wall Street', has been listed for a whopping $120million. The Fifth Avenue co-op was home to the former chief executive officer of Salomon Brothers and his wife, Susan (couple pictured inset), since the 1980s. In March, Gutfreund died of complications from pneumonia at age 86 and his wife is now reportedly selling the apartment because it is too big for one person. The 12,000-sq-ft duplex is located on the seventh and eighth floors of the highly coveted 834 Fifth Avenue co-op building and boasts a 1,600-square-foot master suite along with three other bedrooms, soaring 12.5ft ceilings, a grand marble staircase and hardwood flooring. The home currently ties with 12-16 East 62nd Street - three townhouses listed by Brazilian billionaire banking family the Safras last year - for most the city's expensive asking price.
