Diving back in! Drew Barrymore announces she's working on a dating show with Ellen DeGeneres just one month after split from Will Kopelman

She only announced in late March that she was splitting from husband of three years Will Kopelman.

And already Drew Barrymore has signed up for an NBC dating show with Ellen DeGeneres called First Dates, according to a Thursday report from Deadline.

The 41-year-old actress will not be starring on the series, however. Rather she will be providing the voiceover.

Ellen is executive producing the series. Shed Media, which is part of Warner Bros. TV’s alternative department, is producing.

The reality series, which will have eight episodes, is based on the hit UK format (First Dates aired two installments on the UK’s Channel 4) but will be set in Chicago.

Each episode will be an hour long.

It has been called an 'observational documentary series' that takes a look at a variety of real first dates happening over one night at the same restaurant.

Drew also has another series lined up. She will be starring in Santa Clarita Diet, a new comedy series for Netflix that will roll out in 2017.

And she has been busy promoting her line of wines, makeup as well as a new book, Wildflower.
