Another member for the Woolpack! Matthew Wolfenden reveals he's trying for a third baby with Emmerdale co-star Charley Webb ... four months after having their second son

They welcomed their second child a mere four months ago.

But Matthew Wolfenden and Charley Webb have already begun planning for baby number three, so that they can welcome their new addition whilst already feeling 'knackered.'

The couple, who star alongside each other on Emmerdale, are parents to baby Bowie, and also have a six-year-old son, Buster.

But whilst there may be a large age gap between their two sons, Matthew, 35, revealed they don't want to wait any longer to add to their brood.

Speaking to The Daily Mirror, the star - who plays David Metcalfe in the ITV soap - explained: 'While we are still pretty knackered now we might as well go for number three and keep that knackeredness ball rolling.'

However, having another child would delay their plans to get married, as Matthew revealed that they had already pushed back their plans to walk down the aisle in order to have their boys.

The couple, who began dating in 2008, split briefly following the birth of Buster, but Matthew insisted they are happier than ever now, and plan to get married as soon as they complete their family.

'We just keep on having kids and it gets in the way,' he explained.

The pair have been kept busy looking after their newborn, who lost weight after being unable to keep breast milk down.

The problems meant Bowie had to be bottle fed, but Matthew revealed he enjoyed being able to help with feeding.

'It was nice as it made me feel involved,' he said.

Matthew has been making the most of his time with the baby as he's returned to work to film the harrowing storyline that sees him suffer from testicular cancer.

Revealing that he's received hundreds of messages from cancer suffers praising him for his portrayal, he has fully committed to the role and will be shaving off his hair and facial hair to accurately portray a chemotherapy patient.

Meanwhile, Charley, 28, is currently making the most of her maternity leave, but Matthew insisted that she would be returning to the soap to reprise her role of Debbie Dingle in the future.
