Victoria Beckham 'spends a five-figure sum on a gem-studded motorbike helmet for husband David's 41st birthday'  

It must be difficult to buy for the man who has everything. 

But, despite this, it seems that Victoria Beckham is still able to find a unique birthday gift for her handsome husband. 

According to a report by The Sun, Victoria Beckham splashed out a five-figure sum to get partner David a gem-studded motorbike helmet.

Reports claim the former Spice Girl has created her own personalised French Les Atelier Ruby helmet.

A source told the newspaper: 'David loves bikes so she designed a special helmet as well as gloves, a bluetooth device and expensive camera lens. 

'It certainly required a lot of effort and thought.'

The news comes ahead of the former England star's birthday on May 2, which will no doubt be an indulgent affair.  

Then again, he has been rather supportive of late - with David reportedly bailing out his wife's fashion empire with £5.2million after her designer brand lost £3.8m in a year.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid footballer helped the her out in what has been described as 'discounted operations'.

It comes after Victoria, 42, who made a turnover of £34m in 2014, set up her own store in Mayfair, London two years ago.

The shop cost her nearly £3m and items included Damian Hirst artwork on sale for £600,000.

The Director's Report said: 'The contracts held by the company relating to the David Beckham brand were transferred during the year to DB Ventures Ltd, a sister company of David Beckham Brand Holdings Ltd which is focused on exploiting the David Beckham brand.'
