Donald Lock's Ford bumped into the back of Matthew Daley's Toyota on the A24 at Findon, West Sussex in July last year as he drove back from a cycling meeting. Daley then repeatedly stabbed 79-year-old Mr Lock (centre) in head, back, neck and chest, severing his aorta, a jury heard. A court heard today that Daley's family had warned doctors about his mental health, with his father saying his son would 'hurt someone or worse' if not treated. Colleague Mohammed Ali, 38, from Handsworth, was behind the prank (pictured left). He said: 'We work in a factory and we get breaks when we like to mess around a bit to cheer ourselves up. It's all a bit of fun really - we just thought it would be a bit of a laugh to wrap his car up.' Colleague Mr Tromans was able to raise a smile as he cut his vehicle free from the wrapping. Mohammed added: 'Craig is a good lad but he wasn't very happy when he saw what we'd done.' The incident mirrors another prank, this time involving students in Selly Oak. On Monday afternoon south Birmingham police officers came across the scene where a vehicle had been targeted in Alton Road. Birmingham South Response posted on Twitter: 'Student pranks in Selly Oak!'
