Just hours after teasing a snippet of "True Colors," Kesha has dropped the full-length version of the track.

"True Colors" is a collaboration with Zedd and is a cover of the electronic producer's 2015 song of the same name. And it's not just any work. "This is more than a song. it's a declaration of my truth #truecolors," Kesha tweeted.

It's a powerful, moody tune and, lyrically, Kesha is in a fighting frame. "I'm not afraid/All my life, one page at a time/I'll show you mine, my true colors/No I won't apologize for the fire in my eyes/Let me show you my true colors/It ain't your rainbow," she sings.

Listen to the track below.

Kesha first performed "True Colors" with Zedd as he introduced her out for a surprise performance at Coachella. Her appearance there marked her first performance in public since a judge denied her request in February for a preliminary injunction that would allow her to record without Dr. Luke (Lukasz Gottwald).

Will Dr. Luke & Sony Marriage Last After Kesha?

Though Kesha has been trying all legal avenues to cut loose from Dr. Luke, the release of "True Colors" continues to bind them through the producer's imprint Kemosabe. The track was released through Interscope/Kemosabe/RCA, and the Kemosabe logo heads a statement which announces the new release.
