Video has emerged of Justin Bieber shoving rapper Desiigner, however, it turns out Justin was not just viciously lashing out, but rather was protecting his money makers - namely his dancing feet.

On Thursday night, things came to push and shove between the 22-year-old pop star and the 19-year-old rapper inside 1Oak in New York.

In a video posted and reposted on Twitter, Justin can be seeing shoving Desiigner - who was recently signed by Kanye West - as he performs at the club.

Justin, who is sitting in a VIP area next to stage, at first pushing the artist away from him with one hand before throwing his entire weight behind a two handed push into Desiigner's back.

Another patron is also seen trying to push the Panda rapper, who was the the middle of his performance.

After some solid thumps on his back, the newest member of G.O.O.D Music team turned round and looks rather apologetic.

According to TMZ, despite Justin's reputation he was not pushing the rapper maliciously.

A source told the website that the rapper got 'a little too hyped' and 'stomped' on Justin's feet.

The website said Desiigner also quickly apologized saying 'My bad.'

'We're told Desiigner finished his set. He was only escorted out because he's under 21, and has to leave once he's done performing.'
