Jennifer Lawrence has not yet mastered the art of a perfect red carpet moment.

The actress looked exquisite in a busty Dior frock when she arrived at London's X-Men: Apocalypse global fan screening on Monday night, but quickly marred her display with yet another fall on entry.

Luckily for Jennifer, 25, she landed on an aide's shoulder as she broke into a run in a bid to avoid the rain outside the BFI IMAX, where her famous co-stars James McAvoy, Olivia Munn and Sophie Turner gathered for the event.

This isn't the first time Jennifer has been seen to stumble at a public event: she's almost become more known for her flustered footwork than for her stunning ensembles.

She made headlines back in November 2015 when she was caught on video camera falling up some steps at the Madrid premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2.

With the world's eyes watching, the took a dramatic tumble when the train of her one-of-a-kind black lace gown got caught in her Jimmy Choo heels, a calamity she frequently suffers.

Her other two notable falls came at two separate Oscars ceremonies, the most famous being her trip up the stairs at the 2013 Academy Awards to collect her Best Actress Oscar award for Silver Linings Playbook.

Jennifer got caught up in her voluminous Dior Haute Couture gown, and pictures of the star laying on the steps - in fits of giggles - went viral.

The following year at the Oscars, she fell to her knees while walking the red carpet, and was helped up by then-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult.

Still, the good-humoured star is known for brushing off her embarrassing falls and laughing them off heartedly, and pokes fun at herself.

But she is also keen to address those who suggest her endearing clumsiness is all part of an act.

Following her second fall at the 2014 Oscars, she said - in reaction to what her critics say: 'I know! I'm trying to do the right thing, waving to the fans, trying to be nice, and there's a traffic cone.

'The second I hit it, I was laughing, but on the inside I was like, 'You're f***ed. They're totally going to think this is an act.' If I were Jared Leto, I would completely agree,' she told Marie Clarie.

Jennifer Lawrence is at it again. It's the umpteenth time the actress has tripped over on the red carpet - she never seems to learn!

While walking in heels might not be J-Law's forte, looking fabulous in designer dresses is, which is pretty lucky seeing as she's always at premieres and screenings.

The blonde actress yet again turned to Dior for this event in London, impressing in a cut out floor-length number in a silvery hue that skimmed her toned figure and showed off rather a lot of decolletage. What a minx!

It looked like things were going so well for Jennifer on Monday, until she took a tumble on the blue stretch of carpet, in front of baiting fans and flashing cameras.

She had picked out a slinky dress that featured a keyhole detail on the chest and exposed her ample assets.

The dress, with its glamorous high neckline, also featured a backless aspect that was completed with a sexy criss-cross design.

The film follows critically acclaimed X-Men: Days Of Future Past, from director Bryan Singer, who returns with the latest hotly-anticipated film in the franchise.

On the beauty front, the silver screen stunner offset her platinum waves with a striking scarlet lipstick.

Jennifer, who plays Raven/Mystique, has appeared in all three of the recent action films, including the first, X-Men: First Class.

As the title suggests, the latest flick centres around Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvelís X-Men universe, who is both immortal and invincible.

Upon awakening after thousands of years, he recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (played by Fassbender) to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign.

As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven ( played by Jennifer) with the help of Professor X (portrayed by James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

Even with her fall from grace, Jennifer was the stand-out star of the evening, with glamorous co-stars Olivia Munn and British beauty Sophie Turner hot on her heels.

Olivia was dazzling in a gold midi skirt and a halterneck crop top that flashed a hint of her impeccable abs.

She walked the red carpet on metallic heels to complement the triangle detail of her stunning evening skirt.

Olivia kept her beauty look simple with earthy tones and left her long, raven tresses to do the work as she span a 360 in front of the cameras.

And while Olivia shone, Game Of Thrones actress Sophie plumped for a more subtly sultry look in black.

Like many co-stars before him, he and giddy Jennifer shared a giggle on the red carpet, but she unfortunately made him look diminutive by comparison.

She looked statuescue, towering over him in her dangerous heels, and awkwardly served up an awkward eyeful for the 5ft8in actor with her busty keyhole neckline at his eyeline.

Ben Hardy, who formerly hit the big time in EastEnders playing Peter Beale, couldn't wait to celebrate his big screen role and joined the guests on the blue carpet that night.
