She's the new star of the upcoming X Men sequel, and Sophie Turner made quite an impression stepping out in a thigh-skimming tanned mini skirt.

The ravishing redhead who shot to fame playing Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, showed off her super-toned legs in the tight-fitting skirt as she headed out on Sunday.

British actress Sophie, 20, pulled out the stops to look glam as she joined co-star Jennifer Lawrence for the X-Men: Apocalypse promo tour at Claridges in central London.

Sophie's tan leather skirt featured stitching down the middle and clinched her in at the waist.

Standing tall in a chilled out pair of black trainers, she power walked through the streets flanked by her glamorous pals.

Sophie let her trademark fiery red tresses run free in a mane of loose curls, and opted for natural make-up to highlight her naturally pretty features.

She kept her look cool in a pair of black pumps with white soles as she headed for the promo tour.

Sophie is best known for portraying the role of Sansa Stark in the successful HBO series Game Of Thrones since the tender age of 14.

But she looked worlds away from the alter-ego that propelled her to international fame as she arrived at Claridges for promo for her new role in X-Men: Apocalypse.

Meanwhile Sophie revealed it was never a dull moment on set - after her co-star Jennifer got a bit too close for comfort during a fight scene.

The Game Of Thrones actress, 20, said: 'She punched me in the vagina once. (Co-star) Evan (Peters) and I were having a fake fight and I said something like, 'I'll c**k punch you' or 'I'll punch you in the crotch' and then Jen thought that I said, 'Please c*** punch me, Jen', so she punched me in the vagina and I was like, 'Awesome!' It was pretty funny.'

The latest sequel sees Apocalypse, the immortal and most powerful mutant, awaken after thousands of years in hibernation.

He recruits Famine, Death, Pestilence and War to destroy humanity and rebuild the world to his taste.

The movie, directed by Bryan Singer, also stars Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne and Jennifer's ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult.

X-Men: Apocalypse is released in the UK on 18 May and in the US on 27 May.
