Princess Beatrice has only been living in the Big Apple for a couple of months, but already her social calender is totally jam-packed.

Last night the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson was one of the famous faces present at the 2016 Freedom For All gala held in New York.

Just two days after she attended a high-profile book launch, the 27-year-old was seen posing with model Alessandra Balazs at the anti-slavery event held at The Standard hotel, in the heart of the city's Meatpacking District.

The young royal donned a striking monochrome outfit - her suit jacket and thin black tie giving her an air of office chic

The young royal donned a striking monochrome outfit - her sophisticated cape and thin black tie giving her an air of office chic.

She paired the look with a teal clutch and flat pump shoes, leaving her honey-coloured hair natural.

Also in attendance was Katie Ford, Freedom For All founder and former CEO of Ford Models, actress Karen Duffy and singer-songwriter Michael Stipe.

Freedom For All partners works with on-the-ground organisations to rescue, rehabilitate and reintegrate survivors of human trafficking and slavery.

Her new opportunity came after she completed a finance course at a university in San Francisco.

And it appears that despite a hectic social whirl, Bea is knuckling down in the new role. When she was working as an intern at Sony Pictures last year, she took a whopping 18 holidays.

The princess seems to be enjoying her time in the Big Apple, and looked in particularly good spirits as she posed for pictures with fashion heiress Ally Hilifiger, at the launch of her book Bite Me, an account of battling with Lyme disease, earlier this week.

Hosted by fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, the lavish book launch saw New York's beautiful people descend on the West Village landmark.

Beatrice more than held her own among the city's most stylish, teaming a low-key above-the-knee black shirt dress hooked in at the waist with a patent big buckle belt.

With her glossy hair left loose around the shoulders, she super-charged the look with a dazzling pair of gold heels and a lustrous personalised blue clutch purse by Edie Parker, emblazoned with the word 'Bea'.
