Kendall Jenner is Riviera chic as she flaunts her supermodel frame in a sleeveless white jumpsuit at Cannes beach party

Kendall Jenner certainly knows how to dress for the task at hand - and Thursday at Cannes was no exception. 

Following the unwritten rules of the French Riviera style code, the model was channeling something between retro Parisian chic, old Hollywood and nautical inspirations in a jumpsuit and cat eye sunglasses.

The 19-year-old was flanked by her mother Kris, 60, who was less subtle in her style choice and reflected the sea vibes at the Magnum beach party with vigour in a striped ensemble.

Only Kendall Jenner could give Cannes Film Festival queen Blake Lively a run for her money.

The model arrived at the Magnum beach party looking très chic in a white jumpsuit, which is by Emilia Wickstead. Not a bikini or swimsuit in sight at this beach bash! The label is a favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge, as well as the likes of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Kendall's BFF Gigi Hadid.

It's from the SS16 collection, which took inspiration from the Fifties and we love the woven texture and flattering seam under the bust. The cut of the trousers is beautiful, plus the bow on the shoulder is a nice touch. She had a wave for the fans as she floated through the crowds with a miniature clutch bag in one hand.

The supermodel acted like the aggressive coastal wind in her hair was intentional and styled it out as if strutting down the runway.

It was her first official outing since arriving in the south of France with her mother from Los Angeles on Wednesday.

They arrived on the coastline in a plush vehicle but were soon boarding a boat to party in style, the French Riviera way.

The duo were there to 'Release The Beast' with the ice cream brand as they simultaneously run the Kendall x Magnum campaign.

Magnum have recently gone high fashion, recruiting the likes of British beauty Suki Waterhouse to work with them.
