But when heading out for a lunch date, the 27-year-old beauty likes to lighten it up.

On Thursday the Mirror Mirror actress looked pretty in her pale color as she stopped by Mao's Kitchen in Hollywood for a Chinese lunch.

The British star had on a rosy beige sweater which matched nicely with her brown beige purse and light beige boots.

Dark denim jeans added a nice contrast.

The Blind Side standout also had her hair nicely styled and her makeup carefully done.

On Tuesday the daughter of singer Phil Collins also looked chic.

The beauty popped out to visit a friend in a low key layered ensemble that was perfect for an unpredictable LA day.

She actually looked like she stepped out of the pages of a J Crew catalog.

With it threatening to rain but with a distinct possibility of sunshine too, the Mortal Instruments star headed out in layers so she could remove or add articles of clothing to match the conditions.

The looker wore a pair of straight leg jeans with a black knitted turtleneck sweater under a khaki jacket - perfect for inclement weather.

The actress then accessorized her look with a Givenchy Pandora handbag in washed out grey and a pair of platform black suede boots.

Lily threw on simple sunglasses on her face and let her natural beauty shine by wearing minimal makeup on her flawless porcelain skin.

The young star left her short brown hair out without being overly styled so that it moved as she did.

Despite the weather not being up to Los Angeles' normally perfect standards, Lily smiled away as she walked along not letting the grey skies get to her.
