It's set to be a gripping watch focusing on the exploits of a nefarious New York hedge fund king

And it seems that Billions will burst onto screens in the UK with plenty of sizzling scenes, as Malin Akerman and Damian Lewis strip naked for racy scenes in, and outside, of the bedroom.

Viewers will see the 38-year-old Swede and the Homeland actor, 45, in a number of steamy scenes in the forth-coming drama; with Malin going topless for a raunchy romp in a pool with her co-star.

In the new Sky Atlantic drama Damian plays Bobby 'Axe' Axelrod, a notorious hedge fund manager in New York, while Malin plays his glamorous wife, Lara.

And it seems that the show's creators Brian Koppelman, David Levien and Andrew Ross Sorkin are determined to bring all of the sleaze and dirty glamour of Axelrod's lifestyle to the screen.

In new stills from the show Malin and Damian can be seen getting very close as they strip naked and enjoy a very steamy scene poolside.

Not afraid to show some skin in the raunchy scenes, the blonde Watchmen star strips down to her birthday suit for a dip with Damina.

Pressing her tanned figure up against his, Lara appears to be indulging in some 'quality time' with her husband - grabbing his hair and pulling herself close to him as she flashes a seductive smile.

And it seem that the both Boby and Lara are in the mood for some fun, as another still shows the couple naked and lying in a mound of towels.

But while Bobby has an eye for playing the stock markets, it also seems he also has an eye for a beautiful woman, as Lara looks to be the dictionary definition of a hot WASP - perfect for Bobby to be seen with while mixing with the glitterati of New York.

The drama, Showtime's latest blockbuster drama sees the Homeland actor paired with Golden Globe winner Paul Giamatti, 48,in the timely show about the financial sector and Wall Street.

Paul plays the role of U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades, who sets his sights on Bobby - resulting in a battle between two of New York's most powerful figures.

Speaking about the basis for the drama to The Sun, Damian revealed that the show borrows themes from real news stories, adding: 'That’s a sweet spot for a TV show.'

Billions premieres on Sky Atlantic at 9pm on Thursday May 12.
