This week it emerged Laura Gallacher, 28, is five months pregnant with Russell Brand's baby (pictured together, right). Russell Hartley, 45, from Doncaster, was given a 10-week prison sentence for the alleged assault on Robert Heath, a south Yorkshire police officer, and a further two weeks in jail for drink-driving. But following a two-day hearing at Sheffield Crown Court, a judge quashed the assault conviction. Judge Peter Kelson QC said he was a 'little surprised' the officer felt he needed to restrain Mr Hartley when he was already in the back of the police car.

YouTube experiment featuring two men and two women posing as interfaith Muslim and Jewish couples shows largely hostile response they received as they walked hand-in-hand on streets of New York. The shocking video, which shows them being stared at and verbally and physically abused, has been watched more than 1.2 million times on YouTube. Some people were welcoming and praised them for their openness.

Heather Holliday (pictured), who was raised as a Morman, is turning heads as one of the youngest sword swallowers in the world and is now bringing her act to Australia. Ms Holliday burst into the sideshow performance scene at the age of 17 when she got an internship at the world famous Coney Island Circus Sideshow and soon learned how to swallow up to two feet of steel. The goose ran up to her before flapping in her face and flying onto her head - and even when the girl tried to escape, it still followed her as it continued to rampage.

Go pick on someone else! A baby bison calf managed to win a fight against a wolf looking for a snack.The youngster's struggle for his life was caught on camera. The calf was on a gravel island in Yellowstone National Park when the attack took place. During the assault, the predator repeatedly tried to get at the calf's throat. The calf, however, was able to defend itself and kept moving around, escaping death. His mother soon got to the scene -- and the calf was safe from harm. Incredibly, the calf moved toward the wolf, as if challenging the creature, which moved away.
