But January Jones gave her former on-screen husband Don Draper a run for his money as she arrived at TV event in androgynous style.

The stunning blonde actress, 38, swapped the feminine ensembles of her character Betty Draper for an altogether more business-like approach to dressing.

The French town of Cannes may be overrun with celebrities at the moment thanks to its annual film festival but there are still stars-a-plenty back in New York.

The actress kept her make-up and hair simple, wearing her blonde locks up while she added a daring red lip.

Rounding off the look, she added a killer pair of heels.

Her choice of easy elegance has been explained by the mum of four-year-old Xander, who recently revealed that she has less time to spend getting ready for events.
