'My not so little boy': Pregnant Candice Swanepoel announces the gender of her baby in a revealing black and white Instagram snapshot

Candice Swanepoel broke the news of her pregnancy in a touching black and white social media photo in March.

The 27-year-old Victoria's Secret Angel followed suit when she announced the gender of her baby on Tuesday.

'My not so little boy,' she captioned a snapshot of herself nude from the waist up as she showed off her baby bump and covered her breasts with one arm.

The South African beauty announced she is having a boy in the stunning photo as her blonde hair fell in loose waves.

She wore a pair of light wash denim jeans which were folded over at the waistline as she held one hand on her back as to highlight her burgeoning belly. 

The mother to be is certainly excited about the arrival of her first child with her fiancé, Brazilian male model, Hermann Nicoli, 33.

It was first reported that the star was expecting when a source confirmed the model's excitement to welcome a first child.

One source told E! News that she was 'so excited,' while another continued: 'They are very happy. They plan to spend the summer in New York.'

The supermodel and Hermann met in Paris when she was only 17 and the couple got engaged last August. 

Swanepoel has made no secret of her desire to have a family, telling Hello magazine last year: 'I would love to have children.'

Speaking a few months before Hermann popped the question, the statuesque beauty added that she already felt fully committed to her man.

'I'm not sure about marriage yet,' she said. 'I kind of feel married already. 10 years is kind of a marriage, so I don't really need papers to tell me that.' 

Candice announced her pregnancy in a heartwarming picture of her hand crossed over her stomach with Hermann on Instagram in March.

In a tribute to her catwalk career, she was clad in her lingerie and sports bra as she wrote affectionately about having a 'large belly.'

She wrote: 'Agora e #barrigapositiva ! #babyangel,' which roughly translates to 'What happens now, large belly, baby angel.'
