And Michelle Dockery, 34, made another fine sartorial statement on Wednesday in a racy floral top which revealed a glimpse of her toned midriff as she attended the Turner Upfront event inside Madison Square Garden's The Theater.

The British beauty teamed the sleeveless garment with a high-waisted pair of black trousers and teetering nude heels.

The Downton Abbey star looked radiant as she posed on the black carpet for pictures. She cut a relaxed figure with her hands tucked in her pockets and produced a pretty smile for the cameras.

Her brunette locks cascaded over her shoulders in loose waves, and she sported a classy application of make-up.

Lashings of mascara enhanced her chestnut peepers and a slick of pink lipstick injected a touch of colour into her look.

It looked like Sarah introduced Michelle to Laurie with the typically amiable actress warmly shaking his hand.

The actress's latest project is 10-part thriller Good Behavior which sees Michelle take on the role of Letty Dobesh.

Dobesh is the central character in the seductive thriller based on American author Blake Crouch's novella series, and the pilot was directed by Charlotte Sieling.

Set to grip viewers, Good Behavior follows Letty's journey as she embarks on a mission to derail a hitman from his job after she's just been released from prison.

Back in December, Michelle paid an emotional tribute to her fiancé and sang his favourite song at his funeral a day before what would have been his 35th birthday.

During the funeral, she stood at the altar and told the congregation: 'Whether in his work or his personal life John was extremely loyal. It was clear that when John was in your corner he was there.

'I was honoured to know John. To love him and be loved by him. He was my friend, my King, my hero, my everything. We celebrate him, we honour him and we will miss him.'
