'My body insecurities have spiralled out of control': Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson admits she scrutinises herself in the mirror every day
She famously professes to be a 'natural beauty; real boobs, real hair' in the Geordie Shore opening credits.
But Marnie Simpson isn't quite as confident as the image she portrays on the MTV reality show, admitting that she suffers from terrible body insecurities.
Despite being a slim size 8, the 24-year-old star has confessed she scrutinizes herself in front of the mirror every day.

Marnie told Closer magazine: 'I am always picking myself apart and thinking about what I can change. I don't think I'll ever be happy with myself, even I was stick thin.
'Since being on TV, my body insecurities have spiralled out of control.'
While the results of her co-stars Charlotte Crosby and Chloe Ferry have taken more extreme and less subtle approaches to changing their appearances, Marnie has also gone under the knife.

She's had a breast uplift to make her cleavage more symmetrical, Botox, a nose job and lip fillers - but has now vowed to stop with the cosmetic procedures.
Revealing that she 'ended up regretting' her overly plump lip fillers, the brunette believes that the more surgery people have, the more inclined they are to continue.
Marnie expressed her fears for Chloe, 20, who has just unveiled her dramatic new nose job and said that she's 'addicted' to surgery.

She told the publication: 'I think we've all got the potential to take surgery too far, especially Chloe. She won't listen to anyone.'
Marnie previously told MailOnline the motivation behind the risque lingerie and nude selfies she often shares on Instagram was making herself feel better.
The Newcastle lass confessed: 'People can criticise you but they don't relise how hard it is being in this industry and how much it can effect your self-esteem.
'A lot of the time I feel insecure and if I take a nice selfie of myself then it makes me feel better. It makes me think, "Stop being down, stop being insecure you look good".
