Did Prince die from a fatal combination of drugs? Police await toxicology results to see if he had painkillers and opiates in his system 'before questioning doctors present at singer’s home'
- Police are waiting to see if Perocet and Buprenorphine are present in tests
- The two drugs, used in combination, can cause a suppression of breathing
- If they are found to be present, police may decide to re-question doctors
- They were found at the singer's home when the legendary performer died
Prince could have died from a fatal drug combination with investigators keen to determine if he had ingested two substances known to be dangerous if mixed, it has been reported.
Toxicology reports are not yet completed, but sources told TMZ they are curious to know if he had Perocet and Buprenorphine in his system.
It is believed a combination of the two suppresses breathing and the presence of the two can amplify the effect of one another.

The website also claimed police are curious as to why Prince's doctor Michael Schulenberg and Andrew Kornfeld, the son of a California rehab doctor, were both present.
It was claimed Mr Kornfeld had Buprenorphine pills in his backpack. The drug is commonly used to treat opiate addiction. Neither doctor responded to requests for comment from TMZ.
Meanwhile, as Prince had no children, a judge has now set a four-month deadline for claims against the singer's estate.
Currently his sibling and half siblings lining up in probate court for their shares of a fortune certain to run into the millions, with great earning potential. Yet it's still possible that an unknown heir may emerge
Claimants who file after that might be accepted, but courts typically adhere to the rules laid out.
A person with a verified claim to be Prince's child would zoom to the front of the line for his estate. In fact, a child would get it all under Minnesota law.
So nothing would go to Prince's sister Tyka Nelson and his five half siblings, said Susan Link, head of estate planning for the Minneapolis-based Maslon law firm, with the child 'trumping' the siblings.
Carlin Q. Williams, a Colorado prison inmate, is the only person so far with a claim pending.
His mother, Marsha Henson, contends that she conceived Williams while having sex with Prince at a Kansas City, Missouri, hotel in July 1976.
Attorneys have also filed papers on behalf of a daughter and granddaughter of Duane Nelson Sr, widely described as Prince's late half brother.
Nelson, who died in 2011, is not listed as a relative in papers filed by Tyka Nelson's lawyers in the probate case. Her lawyers have declined to clarify why not, citing attorney-client confidentiality.
If Nelson's daughter and granddaughter are proven blood heirs, they could stand to inherit his share of the estate along with the surviving siblings.
A Kansas City woman has also claimed to be a half sister.
Andrew Kornfeld (above) has been identified as the individual who called 911 after discovering Prince unresponsive at his Minnesota home. He had a bag full of the synthetic opiate buprenorphine at the time
